  • Introduce principal collaborators (some present, some participating by teleconference)
  • Affirm the purpose: To begin growing a diverse, well connected network at the intersection of journalism and technology focused on revitalizing participatory democracy . . . through seeding innovative ideas . . . deepening relationships . . . and inspiring action.
  • Discuss how we ensure diversity in participation, perspective and expertise
  • Consider budget; balance between registration fees and sponsorships
