Janet Key, a lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at the American University in Cairo, has worked as a journalist for more than 20 years in the US, Northern Ireland, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. She has worked for Newsweek and Business Week magazines, UPI, The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune.
