Schreiner was for 30 years a television newsman and executive, winding up as news director of a network affiliate in Champaign-Urbana, Ill. He quit in 2003 and started a career as a non-fiction videographer. Schreiner is an example of a new generation of video entepreneurs. He writes at website: "I was a successful television journalist for 30 years, winning awards for excellence in reporting, production, investigation and live coverage from Colorado to Vermont. I have a digital facility that handles old and new formats. "Besides shooting, editing, writing, voicing, creating graphics and mastering, I compose my own music. That's important because if you want to use pre-recorded music it will cost you more because of copyrights, licensing and disputes over intellectual property. "I'm experienced in Photoshop, Premiere, Boris, After Effects, Tracktion, Pro Tools, Macromedia, Feed Burner, Powerpoint and loads of other powerful video, graphics, web, music and audio softwares. So your production looks as good as those on TV or at big industrial or educational conferences!"
