Walmartwatch.com is a website dedicated to making Wal-Mart change its business ethics. The website has been in effect since January 1, 2005 and currently relies on staff, paid workers and volunteers to keep the project up and running. Wal-Mart Watch is affiliated with The Center for Community and Corporate Ethics, which is devoted to studying the impact of large corporations on society, and Five Stones.

Aside from its web version, Wal-Mart Watch has also placed advertisements in newspapers, including USA Today and the New York Times. It also has a publicized annual report on Wal-Mart which can also be downloaded from the website.

Andrew Grossman, former executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, is the executive director at walmartwatch.com, and says his personal motivation for being such is to, "change the way large businesses interact with people." Grossman says he hopes the website will be, "a resource base anyone can use," and will provide people will tools to help be more effective in changing the business ethics of corporations such as Wal-Mart.

Grossman credits Al Norman from sprawlbusters.com for helping along with the fight against Wal-Mart, along with the Institute for Stacy Mitchell at newrules.org. Walmartwatch.com also advertises its support for the a new documentary by Robert Grossman scheduled for release in September, 2005, entitled: "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price".
